Dr. Abhay is the head of the Medica Superspecialty Hospital’s department of Urology, Surgical-Oncology, and Robotic Surgery in Kolkata. After completing his DNB in Genito-Urinary Surgery from the Department of Urology and Kidney Transplant from Mumbai’s famed Jaslok Hospital & Research Centre, he was trained in Uro-Oncology from Tata Memorial Hospital Mumbai. His special area of interest includes surgery for bladder cancer and he is pioneer of neo-bladder surgery (artificial bladder) in Eastern India. He has established Robotic Surgery in eastern India.
