• Dr. Arunava Roy is a HOD & Senior Consultant - Gynecologic Oncology in the Department of Gynecologic Oncology at Manipal Hospitals E.M. Bypass, Kolkata. With over 15 years of experience, he is a highly skilled expert in the diagnosis and treatment of cancers affecting the uterus, cervix, ovary, vulva, vagina, and peritoneum. He previously served as the Senior Consultant and Head of Gynecologic Oncology, Women Cancer Initiative, and Robotic Surgery at Medica Hospital, Kolkata.

• Dr. Roy completed his post-graduate training in Obstetrics and Gynecology, earning a DGO and DNB (O&G), before pursuing a Clinical Fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology at Tata Medical Center. His commitment to excellence led him to advanced training in robotic surgery, completing basic robotic surgery training in the USA and advanced robotic surgery in Belgium. Notably, Dr. Roy is the first and only robotic surgery trainer accredited by the European Society for Gynecologic Robotic Surgery (SERGS) in eastern India.

• Before joining Medica Oncology, Dr. Roy served as a Senior Consultant in Gyneco-Oncology and Robotic Surgery at Tata Medical Center, Kolkata. He specializes in robotic surgery, cervical cancer surgery, major cytoreductive surgery, and HIPEC (Hyperthermic Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy) for ovarian and peritoneal malignancies.
