Dr. Kaushik Paul is a Senior Consultant in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery with extensive expertise in reconstructive, microsurgical, trauma, burn, and aesthetic procedures. He completed his MBBS from R.G. Kar Medical College, Kolkata, with Honours in three subjects, followed by an MS in General Surgery from Assam Medical College, Dibrugarh, and M.Ch. in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery from R.G. Kar Medical College, Kolkata. He also holds a DNB in Plastic Surgery and was elected as a Member of the National Academy of Medical Sciences (MNAMS), New Delhi. Dr. Paul was awarded the Dr. Mira Sen Banerjee Memorial Gold Medal by the Governor of West Bengal in recognition of his academic excellence.
Previously associated as a Consultant Plastic Surgeon with Apollo Gleneagles Hospital, Kolkata, Dr. Paul has developed expertise in managing complex injuries of the face and limbs, burn injuries, congenital deformities, reconstruction following tumour removal, and microvascular reconstructive surgery. His clinical interests also include cosmetic and aesthetic surgery, where appropriate, with a focus on achieving functional and natural-looking outcomes.
