Dr. S. Kishore Babu is a highly respected Nephrologist and Transplant Physician currently associated with Manipal Hospital Old Airport Road, Bangalore. After completing his MBBS, DCH, and MD in Paediatrics, Dr. Kishore Babu pursued a DNB in Nephrology, establishing a strong foundation in both adult and paediatric kidney care. Over the course of his distinguished career, he has developed extensive expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide spectrum of renal disorders, including chronic kidney disease, acute kidney injury, polycystic kidney disease, nephrotic syndrome, glomerular diseases, and kidney stone disease.

His clinical interests include kidney transplantation, simultaneous kidney-pancreas transplantation, haemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis (CAPD and APD), continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), and the management of diabetes and hypertension-related kidney disorders. His contributions to organ transplantation include serving as a former coordinator of the Zonal Coordination Committee of Karnataka (ZCCK) and playing an important role in Karnataka’s deceased donor transplantation programme.
